▪ स्वतःला सावरणे = to pick oneself up

All children think that life will be beer and skittles once they grow up. सर्व लहान मुलांना असे वाटत असते की एकदाचे आपण मोठे झालो म्हणजे जीवनात नुसती मजाच मजा.
▪ हायसे वाटणे = to ease up
Fans started and all the passengers eased up. पंखे सुरु झाले आणि सर्व प्रवाशांना एकदाचे हायसे वाटले.
▪ अडचण दूर होणे = to ease off
The villagers eased up once the floods eased off. पूर ओसरला आणि खेडुतांनी सुटकेचा श्वास घेतला.
▪ जोर लावून ढकलणे = to shove
Gardner was shoved to the ground by two people before firing two shots. दोन इसमांनी बंदुकीतून दोन गोळ्या झाडण्यापूर्वी माळ्याला जमिनीवर ढकलून दिले.
▪ एखाद्याला सारखे चिडवणे = to pick on someone
Everyone was picking on the monkey who was silently sitting in the corner of his cage in the zoo. प्राणिसंग्रहालयातील आपल्या पिंजऱ्यात शांतपणे बसलेल्या माकडाला प्रत्यकजण चिडवीत होता.
