Lockdown has been suggested as the proposed measure to restrict the number of growing corona Covid-19 cases all over the world. Most of the countries opted to implement a complete lockdown except very few like Netherlands, Brazil and Pakistan which opted for partial lockdown measures. Japan, as usual, relies on the national spirit of unity inherent to its citizens without going for stringent lockdown measures. Special mention should be made of South Korea and Sweden, which controlled the COVID-19 epidemic successfully in their own country WITHOUT implementing a lockdown.
It has been more than 3 months after the COVID-19 started appearing in China and a few other countries. The data regarding the daily new cases and the effect of lockdown on their growing numbers is being evaluated in the following graphs as we have sufficient data from various countries at hand. It was expected that rigorous lockdown measures would help curb the growing number of daily new cases. Just go through the following graphs before you conceive your own opinion!
