Melanie Edmonds writes from Australia:
I was searching for someone who could stand up, look you in your face and say confidently - Yes, you can recover 100% and I will show you the way. I met none until I found Dr Rajul Vasa. What seemed like a ray of hope turned out to be a clear source of bright light, under whose guidance thousands of paralytic patients are treading and toddling their paths towards full recovery. Not partial, but almost complete recovery.
In August 2004, I had a stroke on the right side of my brain which left one side of my body completely paralyzed. I was desperate to get cured and self-reliant again at every cost. I tried innumerable methods. I met many doctors including well-known neurologists. I tried different types of therapies. I consulted many physiotherapists. I exercised on a lot of machines. I attended a lot of seminars and referred to a good number of books. I practiced meditation sessions. I even went to mystic healers! Yes, some of these methods did help a little but their effect was short-lived. None of these persons had any confidence in themselves, how could they instill any confidence in the patient?
6 years slipped away and I found Dr. Rajul Vasa through a remote reference. Sitting on the other side of the globe, she said that she would cure me without any external help but using my own brain as a focused training medium for my own body. She backs up those words without any hesitation - Yes, you can recover to your expectations if you are ready to work hard and intelligently towards it. I thought, at last, I had discovered someone who had the ability to show solid results, not just promises and uncertain hopes.
I started doing the targeted group of exercises she prescribed for me after looking at my videos. Her workouts are always tailored according to the condition and need of the patient. As I took each step down the path to complete recovery (a dream until then), within just 3 weeks, I felt life coming back in my paralyzed muscles, after a gap of 6 years! My mind and heart became buoyant and hopeful, and I could do small things which until then I could just dream of doing. I started becoming the person I used to be. My questions were answered to satisfaction and a clear path was shown to me and to many other lucky disabled patients of stroke who were seeking genuine ways to recovery.
It was incredible. It was very disheartening to see the confidence lacking in the contemporary rehabilitation treatment that was being offered in Australia, Europe or America. It was very discouraging not to see that green hope in people whose job is to heal someone. This lack of confidence could be clearly read all over their faces and palpable in the words they say. The modern methods of Physiotherapy make no sense to me. They encourage the use of normal parts of the body to compensate for the incapacitated parts of your body. In a way, they make more and more separation between normal and affected side. This doesn't work and makes the weak side weaker and the strong side stronger.
I wonder, why modern physiotherapists don't think the way Dr. Vasa does. Her methods are brilliantly simple but intelligent and logical. She wants her patients to treat the body as one whole integrated unit and not as separate parts like leg, foot, ankle et cetera. Seemingly simple, it is not that easy to implement. You have to pour your heart and soul into the training. Dr. Vasa says that our brain is a very powerful tool, it has the ability to restore itself and the body after damage. One must know how to use this tool. Dr Vasa will show just that. Her theory is called Vasa Concept which is gaining much international attention and recognition.
Every other method I tried relied on something from outside and hence, they seemed artificial. I must say, although we are in the 21st century, stroke rehabilitation technique is still in its primitive stage. VASA methods stimulate your inner potential; they teach you how to balance.
These techniques are working for me now and a little further down the path, I know I will finish this marathon. I feel that these methods should be the new cornerstone of stroke rehabilitation.
If you are fed up hearing these comments - You should realize that you may never lead a normal life again... Try to live with your disability..., try VASA therapy. When these methods are working for hundreds others, there is no reason they won't work for you.

It is so pathetic that in this path of our world we look down at our people who have proven result to our problems and rely on foreign medical practices that produce little or no result.
